A Multi-disciplinary Team for Turnkey Solutions

TZ and its sister company PDT offer true multi-disciplinary capabilities to create turnkey solutions for the aerospace industry. With 130-plus mechanical, electronic, software engineers and relationships with the top SMA consortiums such as CAS SMART, TZ is in a unique position to introduce intelligent latching into the generally conservative busienss of aerospace by using cost effective smart materials technology. Through experimentation and testing, TZ has developed its own best practices for using and working with SMA and collaborates closely with external partners in the development of shape memory and high temperature shape memory alloys (HTSMA). Our team understands how to develop devices that leverage the unique capabilities of SMA and use its unique characteristics to develop latching and fastening solutions that address the issues facing today’s aerospace industry.
